We are committed to providing a world-class service for Research Network members to advance their ideas and careers. We know researchers benefit from the faster and wider dissemination of their work and believe in reducing the friction of knowledge exchange between different disciplines and scholars
We also know the real challenges of funding Open Access in the humanities, social sciences, arts, and design fields. In converting our traditional subscription-based journal to Open Access, we also seek to overcome the structural barriers that too often make the choice unaffordable to many.
With our Gold Open Access Article Processing Fee we seek to find an equitable balance in the publishing ecosystem.
The Research Network provides a robust system for review, conforming to Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) standards. The result is an ethical peer review process that provides constructive and carefully structured feedback to improve the quality of the publication.
The final published version of the publication (Version of Record) of all content is openly accessible and free to read and download immediately upon publication, without any kind of technical or other forms of obstacles. We also commit to advocating the benefits of open access to authors throughout their publication journey.
We are focused on creating a publishing process without prejudice to institutional affiliation, stage in career, national origins, or disciplinary perspectives. If the article is excellent and has been systematically and independently assessed as such, it will be published.
We are committed to expanding the visibility, reach, and impact of research by ensuring our CGScholar platform integrates article metadata with relevant databases and repositories. For authors, we supply transparent data on key metrics such as usage, citations, online engagement at the article level.
We are working to change the way in which knowledge is produced, validated, and shared within member-based Research Networks.
